Model Remodel

Challenge

With popularity soaring and the Seattle market heating up, Model Remodel needed to upgrade their sales process, analyze data from marketing efforts to determine where to funnel their budget, share accurate schedule projections with their clients, and improve field-to-office communication - Excel just wasn’t cutting it.

Solution

With the sales and data management tools provided by ConstructionOnline, Model Remodel’s Team is able to track their ever increasing flow of leads (from one hundred a few years ago to the many hundreds today) in one location, analyze which marketing campaigns benefited their bottom-line, and predict the duration of projects accurately to reflect the busy nature of the Pacific Northwest housing market.

Record Growth Fuels Need for Innovation

Model Remodel was born from Jason Legat’s former career as an international fashion model for Nike and Pierre Cardin. Jason, whose “heart was always back in Washington and within an industry that provided a more tangible and permanent product” returned to the area and Model Remodel was born.

Beginning as a small remodeling business in 2002, Model Remodel quickly grew to a team of twenty-five quality employees. Model Remodel services the Seattle area of Washington State and has continued to collaborate with clients to transform their homes into their dream dwelling through custom design-build solutions to fit the client’s existing architecture or new, unique desires.

Jason’s “labor of love” quickly gained traction when the quality of his work traveled by word of mouth - Emma, who started with the company in 2016, shared that their popularity encouraged a strong influx of new business, which was at first a challenge to manage with their current system - the stream of leads rapidly grew from 100 to over 500 per year, and they knew a specialized project management software was going to be integral to their success and the solution to their growing pains.

Enter ConstructionOnline, UDA Technologies’ award-winning Construction Project Management Software. ConstructionOnline provided Jason and his team with the specialized tools that Excel lacked, empowering Model Remodel to not only manage leads efficiently, but create accurate timelines using the Gantt Chart Schedules to manage client expectations, win more jobs, execute projects on-time and on-budget, all while cementing Model Remodel’s pristine reputation as one of the best Remodelers in the area - you get the idea.

Once the job is won, the Model Remodel team utilizes the Project Logging and File Management tools found in ConstructionOnline - Daily Reports have become indispensable and they’ve discovered that connecting the job site to the internal office has never been simpler. Project Teams are notified of any subcontractor work, visitors, and homeowner arrival to the job site. “The software has really helped our President and Vice-President keep tabs on projects without having to be on site every day,” says Emma. “ConstructionOnline is great at helping us keep projects that take six months to a year to complete moving smoothly - we can easily track which part of the construction calendar we are at and which subcontractors we need to reach out to.”
